This issue was released in San Francisco in 2013 with events at Kadist Art Foundation and the Lab while White Fungus was the magazine in residence at Kadist. At the Kadist event, Science Fiction authors Kim Stanley Robinson and Ron Drummond discussed the social, economic, and political implications of the human push into space and efforts to colonize Mars. The Lab event featured experimental music and performance art by Wang Fujui, Betty Apple, Samin Son, Scott Arford, and Mason Jones. This issue is partially bilingual, with all articles in English and some also in Mandarin Chinese.
